This is a selection of the pieces that we have by Richard Baxter in our gallery. Contact us on 01603 767282 or via email@example.com to enquire about the full range.
Richard Baxter has been a professional potter since 1981, when he graduated with a First in 3-D Design from Loughborough College of Art and Design. Richard works from his studio in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, where his pots are thrown using Limoges porcelain and are fired to 1240c in an electric kiln.
Porcelain is a very strong clay, which means that the pots can be very thin whilst remaining durable. The thinness of the pottery gives a sense of lightness which is further enhanced by the translucent quality of fine porcelain.
Richard’s pots have a flawless finish yet retain the potter’s workmanship and the handmade quality. His coloured glazes range from the deepest blues to palest of greens and the most vibrant acid yellows. His Tiny Bowls encompass all his styles in a collection accessible to anyone and they work perfectly alongside his larger pieces.
This is just a selection of the Richard Baxter pieces available at Gallery In The Lanes and we regularly update the collection. For further information contact us on 01603 767282 or via firstname.lastname@example.org. His work is also available at our sister gallery, Riverside Art & Glass in Wroxham, the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
