Bridget Heriz specializes in both sculpture and watercolour studies, and is both a talented and accomplished 2D and 3D artist.

Heriz studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths College and Ravensbourne College of Art & Design in the 1970s, before studying industrial welding and bronze casting with a fellow student in order to set up their own foundry at Clock House until the mid-1980s. Whilst raising a family, Heriz continued to take on a number of commissions for private, business and corporate clients; these included indoor and outdoor sculpture, and small to life-size figures working in bronze and other materials.

Heriz moved to Great Yarmouth permanently in 2002 and developed her style, in which she uses wire, wood and occasionally found objects in her sculpture. She works directly with the material she is using and not from drawings. Heriz has exhibited her work all over the UK, as well as selected galleries across Europe, and regularly participates in the Great Yarmouth Artists Open Studios.
