New riverside home for Gallery in the Lanes

Gallery in the Lanes on Bedford Street will relocate to a new permanent home this Summer.

Joining forces with Riverside Art and Glass, the new look ‘Riverside Contemporary Art and Glass’ will be based in Wroxham – gateway to the Broads National Park. The gallery will also exhibit nationally at art fairs. Gallery Director Louisa Milsome says:

‘There are fantastic opportunities beyond the city, and we are excited to be expanding our contemporary art business in a county setting’.

The large ex-warehouse exhibition spaces and outdoor sculpture gardens offer expansive space for artwork display. The site also benefits from plenty of client parking.

Artists who exhibit in Norwich will be joining us for the opportunity to reach wider Norfolk audiences and exhibit in a popular waterside location. Celebrated Norfolk artist Dee Nickerson says:

‘For several years I’ve worked closely with the lovely team at Gallery in the Lanes, who have been instrumental in guiding collectors towards my work. I’m delighted to continue working with Riverside Contemporary Art and Glass and I look forward to my solo show in November 2020.’

Alongside the Yorkshire Dales, Lakes and Peak Districts, the Broads are one of the UK’s most popular national parks and welcome in the region of 8 million visitors each year. Team members will transfer to Wroxham and hope to welcome both new and existing customers at the new site from July onwards. Riverside Contemporary Art and Glass will continue to offer an outstanding client experience for art and glass collectors alike.
